Current Position - Rector of Saint Stephen's Church, Port Washington, NY 11050.
An active 630 member suburban parish with a $600,000.00 budget.
Just completed two capital programs of $460,000.00 and $950,000.00

2000-2001         President Port Washington Clerrgy Association.

 

1997-2003         Trustee of Diocese of Long Island; Vice President.

 

1997-2001         Russia Committee, Diocese of New York.

 

1994-2003         Trustee - SPCK(USA). Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge.  The oldest mission society in the Anglican Communion.

 

1991-2003         Trustee - Seamen's Church Institute.  Clerical Vice President.
Center for Seafarer’s Rights.  (Jubilee Ministry Center for Justice)

 

1991-1992         Deputy  To General Convention.
Alumni Committee of The George Mercer Jr. School of Theology

 

1985-1991         Chair - The Diocesan Commission On Ministry.  Early work included the smooth transition to the ordination of women on Long Island  and establishing an exploration of ministry program.

 

1989-2003         Trustee - Community Mainstreaming Associates, a community based program of housing and managing support systems for "special" adults.

1986-1989         Secretary Of Convention -  Managed Diocesan Convention (150 parishes), ran special convention for election of a 2 Bishops, and published the Annual Report.

 

1985-1988                  Racial Justice Committee - Active member and coordinated the nomination and election of minority candidates to diocesan positions. Helped found Port Washington Youth  Council.
